What started as a hobby, born from my own struggles to wear my much loved jewellery, has grown into a celebration of mothers.
Mum’s can get a bit forgotten after the baby arrives, and that’s when they need to be noticed and celebrated the most. My creations are a guilt free way to do that.
Made from no small parts, my pieces are durable and unique, crafted from natural materials which are are both washable and virtually unbreakable.
As well as being practical, it’s very important to me that my business is ethical – something I’ve worked very hard to achieve.
Earlier this year I launched the Fair Trade Range, created in conjunction with a women’s development group in Jaipur, India. Mostly mothers, the women had been oppressed by gender inequality, social constraints, child marriage, lack of education or abject poverty. This range provided them with the skills, confidence and economic power to turn their lives around.
The AusMumpreneur Awards recognises Australian mums in business achieving outstanding success, and are designed to recognise the growing number of women who successfully balance motherhood and business.
If you love what I do (and I hope that you do!), please get behind me and vote.
Many (many) thanks,
